《賽馬會探索科學嘉年華》條款及細則
「賽馬會探索科學」計劃由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金主導策劃及捐助，香港教育大學為策略夥伴。《賽馬會探索科學嘉年華》（以下稱「嘉年華」）由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金(「慈善信託」)之「賽馬會探索科學」計劃策劃（「大會」）。
1.
慈善信託於嘉年華所收集之參加者(即家長及其子女)個人資料將只用於是次嘉年華用途，並按照香港賽馬會慈善信託基金的私隱條款處理：https://www.hkjc.com/home/chinese/corporate/corp_privacy_hkjcct.aspx
2.
參加者提供資料純屬自願，然而，在個人資料不足夠的情況下，參加者將無法參加嘉年華。
3.
參加者明白大會將以相片及錄像攝錄參加者於嘉年華中的肖像，並同意大會可以將其相片、影片、錄像及錄音用於不同媒體中，以作香港賽馬會慈善信託基金及/或香港科學館進行任何活動。如有異議，請於嘉年華前以電郵通知香港賽馬會慈善信託基金。
4.
參加者已閱讀、理解並同意遵守有關法律及規則。
5.
參加者確認自願參與嘉年華的所有活動，並聲明其本人及其子女身體狀況良好，並無任何身體或健康狀況會影響其參與嘉年華的能力。參加者須自行評估其本人及其子女是否適合參與嘉年華的各項活動，並同意就其於參加嘉年華（包括往返活動場地期間）所發生或招致之任何人身傷害、意外、死亡或財物損失（不論如何產生），自行承擔全部責任。
大會概不就參加者因參與嘉年華（包括往返活動場地期間）（不論如何產生）所引致或招致之任何責任、損害、損失、費用或開支承擔任何責任。參加者同意免除及解除大會就上述事項所承擔之一切及任何責任。
6.
本條款及細則內任何條文不可供任何第三方執行。香港法例第623章《合約（第三者權利）條例》不適用於本條款及細則。
7.
大會將因應報名情況而更改活動名額而不作另行通知。
8.
大會有權因任何理由取消或延期是次活動，或更改是次活動的形式或安排，而不作通知或賠償。
9.
如有任何爭議，大會將保留一切最終決定權。
10.
以上條款，如有更改，恕不另行通知。
11.
本條款及細則以英文撰寫，中文僅為譯本。中英文版本如有歧異，一概以英文版本為準。
Terms and Conditions of JC CoolScience Carnival
JC CoolScience is created and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust in partnership with the Education University of Hong Kong. The JC CoolScience Carnival (the “Carnival”) is organised under the JC CoolScience Project by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust (the “Trust”) (the “Organiser”).

Please note that the personal data of the participants (namely the parents and their children) collected by the Trust in this form will be used for the purpose of the Carnival and in accordance with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust’s Privacy Policy Statement: https://www.hkjc.com/home/english/corporate/corp_privacy_hkjcct.aspx

Providing personal data is entirely voluntary; however, insufficient information may result in the participant being unable to join the Carnival.
3.
Participants understand and agree that the Organiser may capture their portraits through photos and videos during the Carnival and agree that these photos, videos, and recordings may be used in various media for any activities conducted by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and/or the Hong Kong Science Museum. Please notify The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust before the day of the Carnival for any objection to use the photos, videos, and recordings.
4.
Participants have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the relevant laws, regulations and rules.
5.
Participation in the Carnival is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk. Participants represent that they and their children are in good health and have no physical or medical condition that would prevent their participation in the Carnival. Participants shall assess whether they and their children are fit to participate in the Carnival and agree to assume full responsibility for any injury, accident, death, or loss of personal property arising from or in connection with their participation in the Carnival (including travelling to and from the venue), howsoever arising.
The Organiser shall not be liable for any liability, damage, loss, costs or expenses arising from or in connection with participation in the Carnival (including travelling to and from the venue), howsoever arising. Participants agree to release and discharge the Organiser from any and all such liabilities.
6.
These Terms and Conditions are not enforceable by any third party, and these Terms and Conditions shall be excluded from the application of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623).
7.
The Organiser reserves the right to adjust the number of activity quota based on registration status without prior notice.
8.
The Organiser reserves the right to postpone or cancel the activity, or alter the format or arrangement of the activity for any reason without notice and compensation.
9.
In case of disputes, the Organiser reserves the right of final decision.
10.
The above Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
11.
These Terms and Conditions are drafted in English and translated into Chinese. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.

科學劇場
  • 參加者需要事前於活動網站報名。
  • 門票按先到先得方式分發，大會可能提供少量即場報名名額。
  • 劇場表演將以英語進行，並提供廣東話即時傳譯。
  • 劇場表演可能涉及科學演示和實驗，部分環節可能包含以下潛在情況：爆破聲響或突然的巨大聲響、閃光、煙霧或其他視覺刺激效果、其他可能引起感官刺激的科學演示等，兒童參加者必須有成人陪同以符合場地的安全措施要求，並於報名前須評估兒童參加者的身體狀況是否適合參加是次申請活動。
  • 劇場表演適合5至11歲的兒童。
  • 參加者須於活動開始前20分鐘到達場地；否則座位可能會分配予即場報名的參加者。
Theatre Science Show(s):
  • Participants are required to register online in advance.
  • Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A few walk-in spots may be available.
  • The show will be conducted in English, with live Cantonese interpretation.
  • Theatre Science Show may include science demonstrations and experiments, which could involve the following potential situations: explosive sounds or sudden loud noises, flashing lights, smoke or other visual effects, and other sensory-stimulating scientific demonstrations. Child participant must be accompanied by an adult to comply with the venue's safety requirements, and the physical condition of the child participant should be assessed for suitability before registering for this activity.
  • The shows are suitable for children aged 5 to 11.
  • Participants should arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the event to secure their spots; otherwise, these may be allocated to walk-in guests.

Complimentary Ticket Redemption
  • 每位科學劇場的參加者，可於活動當日到換領櫃檯憑參與活動之二維碼兌換一張免費的科學館門票（同日適用），換領櫃檯位位於香港科學館一樓演講廳大堂。此門票可用於進入香港科學館展覽廳，並參觀動手做攤位。如有任何爭議，主辦單位保留最終決定權。
  • Each participant who has successfully registered online for the Theatre Science Shows may redeem one complimentary museum ticket (valid on the same day only) by presenting the QR Code at the redemption counter on the event day. The redemption counter is located at the Lecture Hall Foyer, 1/F, Hong Kong Science Museum. This ticket entitles the participant to enter the Hong Kong Science Museum’s exhibition hall and to visit the Hands-on Science Booth(s). In case of disputes, the Organiser reserves the right of final decision.
