The organiser may contact parents/guardians via phone/WhatsApp regarding event-related information, particularly for the Family Science Workshop. Successful applicants will receive a message via WhatsApp to re-confirm their attendance about 10 days prior to the event to secure their seats, failure to re-confirm the attendance will lead to a withdrawal of spots. The organiser reserves the right to allocate spots to individuals on the waiting list without prior notice.

- 每位科學劇場或親子科學工作坊的參加者，可於活動當日到換領櫃檯憑參與活動之二維碼兌換一張免費的科學館門票（同日適用），換領櫃檯位位於付費區入口對面，玻璃門位置。此門票可用於進入香港科學館展覽廳，並參觀動手做攤位。如有任何爭議，主辦單位保留最終決定權。
- Each participant who have successfully registered online for the Theatre Science Shows or the Family Science Workshops can redeem a complimentary museum ticket (valid on the same day only) on the event day by presenting the QR Code at the redemption counter. Redemption counter is located at the opposite of the Entrance of the paid area, in front of a glass door. The museum ticket provides entry to the Hong Kong Science Museum’s exhibition hall, where they can visit the Hands-on Science Booth(s). In case of disputes, the Organiser reserves the right of final decision.
參加條款及細則
「賽馬會探索科學」計劃由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金主導策劃及捐助，香港教育大學為策略夥伴。《賽馬會探索科學嘉年華》（以下稱「嘉年華」）由「賽馬會探索科學」計劃策劃，並與香港科學館合辦（以下統稱「大會」）。
1.
參加者( 即家長及其子女)於嘉年華所提供之個人資料將只用於是次嘉年華用途，並按照香港賽馬會慈善信託基金的私隱條款處理： https://www.hkjc.com/home/chinese/corporate/corp_privacy_hkjcct.aspx
2.
參加者提供資料純屬自願，然而，在個人資料不足夠的情況下，參加者將無法參加嘉年華。
3.
參加者明白大會將以相片及錄像攝錄參加者於嘉年華中的肖像，並同意大會可以將其相片、影片、錄像及錄音用於不同媒體中，以作香港賽馬會慈善信託基金及/或香港科學館進行任何活動。如有異議，請於嘉年華前以電郵通知香港賽馬會慈善信託基金。
4.
參加者有權存取或更改已提交的個人資料。如參加者希望存取或更改任何資料，請電郵至enquiry@jccoolscience.org聯絡我們。
5.
參加者已閱讀、理解並同意遵守有關法律及規則及香港賽馬會慈善信託基金的私隱條款，並同意所提供的資料將由大會按該私隱條款作保存和使用。
6.
參加者確認自願參與嘉年華的所有活動。參加者必須自行衡量自身及兒童的身體狀況，確保有能力參加此活動，並將自行承擔在參與嘉年華期間所發生的任何意外，導致受傷、死亡或財物損失。大會對參加者在參加嘉年華期間可能產生的任何責任、傷害、死亡、損失、費用或開支（無論如何產生）概不負責。 參加者 同意免除大會就參加者在往返嘉年華的場地、嘉年華期間所發生或任何原因引致之人身傷害、意外、死亡或其他損失而產生的任何及所有責任。
7.
本條款及細則內任何條文不可供任何第三方執行。香港法例第623章《合約（第三者權利）條例》不適用於本條款及細則。
8.
大會將因應報名情況而更改活動名額而不作另行通知。
9.
大會有權因任何理由取消或延期是次活動，或更改是次活動的形式或安排，而不作通知或賠償。
10.
如有任何爭議，大會將保留一切最終決定權。
11.
以上條款，如有更改，恕不另行通知。
12.
本條款及細則以英文撰寫，中文僅為譯本。中英文版本如有歧異，一概以英文版本為準。

JC CoolScience created and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust in partnership with the Education University of Hong Kong. The JC CoolScience Carnival (the “Carnival”) is organised under the JC CoolScience Project, and is co-organised by The Hong Kong Science Museum (jointly refer to the “Organiser”).
1.
Please note that the personal data of the participants (namely the parents and their children) collected in this form will be used for the purpose of the Carnival and in accordance with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust’s Privacy Policy Statement: https://www.hkjc.com/home/chinese/corporate/corp_privacy_hkjcct.aspx

Providing personal data is entirely voluntary; however, insufficient information may result in the participant being unable to join the carnival.
3.
Participants understand and agree that the Organiser may capture their portraits through photos and videos during the Carnival and agree that these photos, videos, and recordings may be used in various media for any activities conducted by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and/or the Hong Kong Science Museum. Please notify The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust before the day of the Carnival for any objection to use the photos, videos, and recordings.
4.
Participants have the right to access or amend the personal data they have submitted. If the participant wishes to access or amend any information, please contact us via email at enquiry@jccoolscience.org.
5.
Participants have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the relevant laws and regulations and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust ’s Privacy Policy Statement; and also consent to the storage and use of the provided information by the Organiser in accordance with the said Privacy Policy.
6.
Participation in the Carnival is on voluntary basis and at the own risk of participants. Participants certify that he, she, his or her child is in good health and has no physical or medical condition that would prevent participation in the Carnival. Participants shall be fully responsible for any injury, death and loss to personal property while participating in the Carnival. The Organiser is not responsible for any liability, injury, death, loss, costs or expenses that participants may incur (howsoever arising) in participating in the Carnival. Participants agree to absolve the Organiser from any and all liabilities arising from bodily injuries, accidents, death or other losses during or caused by travelling to and from the Carnival venue, during the Carnival or whatsoever reason.
7.
These Terms and Conditions are not enforceable by any third party, and these Terms and Conditions shall be excluded from the application of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623).
8.
The Organiser reserves the right to adjust the number of activity quota based on registration status without prior notice.
9.
The Organiser reserves the right to postpone or cancel the activity, or alter the format or arrangement of the activity for any reason without notice and compensation.
10.
In case of disputes, the Organiser reserves the right of final decision.
11.
The above Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
12.
These Terms and Conditions are drafted in English and translated into Chinese. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.

科學劇場
- 門票按先到先得方式提供，大會可能提供少量即場報名名額。
- 劇場表演將英語進行，並提供廣東話即時傳譯。
- 劇場表演可能涉及科學演示和實驗，部分環節可能包含以下潛在情況：爆破聲響或突然的巨大聲響、閃光、煙霧或其他視覺刺激效果、其他可能引起感官刺激的科學演示等，兒童參加者必須有成人陪同以符合場地的安全措施要求，並於報名前須評估兒童參加者的身體狀況是否適合參加是次申請活動。
- 劇場表演適合5至11歲的兒童。
- 參加者須於活動開始前20分鐘到達場地；否則座位可能會分配予即場報名的參加者。
Theatre Science Show:
- Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A few walk-in spots may be available.
- The show will be conducted in English, with live Cantonese interpretation.
- Theatre Science Show may include science demonstrations and experiments, which could involve the following potential situations: explosive sounds or sudden loud noises, flashing lights, smoke or other visual effects, and other sensory-stimulating scientific demonstrations. Child participant must be accompanied by an adult to comply with the venue's safety requirements, and the physical condition of the child participant should be assessed for suitability before registering for this activity.
- The workshop is suitable for children aged 5 to 11.
- Participants should arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the event to secure their spots; otherwise, these may be allocated to walk-in guests.
親子科學工作坊
